I just finished going through hundreds of guesses for the candy corn contest and we have a winner. Carol P. of Warren came within 4 of the correct number, which was 314. Carol wins the pumpkin head jar all the candy corns were in, and a new bag of candy corn to go in it. I must admit it was getting a little boring looking at all those slips until I opened one from Linda A. of Westport, Ma. Instead of a guess she wrote "Hi Terry". It gave me the boost I needed to carry on with the monumental mind numbing task at hand!
Speaking of monumental tasks at hand the countdown has really begun for the Open House. 10 days and the clock is ticking.
