KimsCrafts began in 1989 by a single designer at a kitchen table. Today, there are many more stencilers at many more tables producing the same quality product that was envisioned 20 years ago.
Beginning with a durable, fine-grained, gray roofing slate, stencilers apply as many as sixteen layers of paint to achieve exceptionally detailed designs.
As a handmade product, slates vary slightly, but all meet exacting standards for clarity and crispness.
Each slate is coated in a weather-resistant UV sealer and is strung with natural rawhide lacing.
