Join Blithewold for Elegance and Opulence, Blithewold's first Winter Music Series, to be held the last Friday of the month from January through March, 2010. Enjoy an evening of music with Opera Providence, accompanied by a wine tasting by Greenvale Vineyards and desserts.

This evening performance includes a special exhibit showcasing Bessie McKee and Marjorie Lyon's love of music. They saved several hundred performance programs from opera and symphony concerts in Boston and Europe. These will be on display, along with a collection of sheet music used in the early 1900s for musical soirees at Blithewold.
Price for one performance: $35 Member, $40 Non-member, $60 Member Couple, $70 Non-member couple
Built in 1908 in the English Country Manor style, the Blithewold mansion sits on 70 acres of manicured gardens. Open to the public, the property is great venue for lavish events as well as Sunday strolls.
